Lumiere casino sold to Tropicana for $260 million. Aug 17, 2013; The price is about half what Pinnacle spent to build the complex that opened in 2007. Its sale was mandated sale after Pinnacle. Every since Lumiere has been sold and management has changed, this place has gone down hill drastically. I'm pretty sure they pay customers off to vote Lumiere the number one casino in Missouri. The pros of working here: I've met some really great people, employees and customers included, and accumulate PTO quickly. The cons: raises are laughable.
